A guarantor is simply someone who agrees to take some responsibility for the rent, essentially guaranteeing timely payment of the lease. For most student-living situations, the guarantor is a parent or legal guardian. Uncommon only asks for a guarantor when a potential resident for our Oxford, MS property can’t meet certain application requirements.
To begin the background and credit check process, there is a $50 application fee. We also require a one-time non-refundable redecoration fee for all new residents.
