When your student lives at Uncommon Oxford, they will know from
the very beginning that our team is dedicated to providing a
world-class student living experience at the University of
Mississippi. We refer to the staff at our front desk as student
concierges—they are happy to give out information, arrange grocery
delivery or laundry services, and provide support whenever and
wherever they can.
Our Oxford apartment building is serviced by a fully-licensed maintenance team that has the training and experience to handle a wide range of issues. Maintenance requests can be easily submitted through the online resident portal or by calling the leasing office during business hours. We do our best to address all maintenance orders within 24 hours of notification. As an added bonus, we have on-call community assistants who act as first-responders to any after-hours emergency.
We have tailored our application and lease process to meet the
needs of today’s on-the-go students and parents. While we would
love to see you in the leasing office, you can fill out the application and complete
the lease process entirely online, adding convenience and speed to
your life—especially if you live out of the area.
To enhance the safety of our facility, each resident must complete a background check. There will also be a credit check, and the guarantor (usually the parent) must sign a Guaranty Agreement.
Our leases are organized on an individual basis, meaning that residents are only responsible for their own monthly lease payments. This ensures that busy students do not have to be accountable for their roommates making lease payments. If your student is in need of roommates or has a group that needs one more person, they can take advantage of our roommate matching service, which connects groups or individuals interested in living at Uncommon Oxford.
